Gearboy is a GB/GBC emulator/debugger. Its standalone version supports Windows, Linux, macOS and FreeBSD, and it's also available as a RetroArch/Libretro core.
It features accurate CPU emulation (passes cpu_instrs.gb from blargg's accuracy tests), support for carts (ROM + RAM, MBC1, MBC2, MBC3 + RTC, MBC5, HuC-1 and MBC1M (multicart)), accurate LCD controller emulation with correct timings and priorities including mid-scanline effects, GC LCD screen ghosting, LCD dot matrix effect, battery-powered RAM save support, save-states, compressed rom support (ZIP), BIOS support, Game Genie and GameShark cheat support, feature-rich debugger, portable mode (on Windows and Linux), ROM loading via command line and drag & drop, SDL support for controllers.
