ROM managers are pieces of software that take DAT files (files that list names and hashes of ROMs) and a folder of ROMs, and rename the ROMs to match the names in the DAT file. This allows you to see what you are missing, or if any of your ROMs may be bad dumps. Some also have integration into emulators.

JRomManager 3.0.5 Multi-threaded scanning and archive building. Features and functions are MAME-centric, but still easy usable with another systems. In contrast to Clrmamepro, it allows to store ROMs without obligatory allocation to folders of the same name. Corresponding Reddit post and Arch Linux package.
