Any particular reason to recommend Ubuntu Server over Debian for advanced users?

On the "Minimalist/Bloat-free Distro Setup" section

This article should inform users on distributions in relation to emulation. The general emulator articles in this style neutrally list and compare emulators and their features, An opinionated section on installing a specific setup of ubuntu doesn't serve to inform and is entirely irrelevant to users. A better solution would be to compare features of different distributions (For example if required drivers are preinstalled or easy to install or if the built-in software store includes all/most common emulators). A user looking for an advanced and customised system would and should not be getting that information from a general emulation-related wiki. - 40608, 18/04/2026
