Sky3DS only permits piracy, but can load homebrew through Ninjhax and a Cubic Ninja ROM due to perfectly copying a retail card. CFW only permit homebrew. My guess is that CFW can be combined with the Sky3DS in getting 'the best of both worlds'. This thread suggests that such a combination should be possible...

Agree to disagree on whether 'racism as a concept' is real or forced or whatever, but the point here shouldn't be to enforce liberal speech norms or turn the wiki into another sanitized bubble like most social media platforms and mainstream wikis. It's to keep things raw for preservation's sake and to stay anti-censorship - which is kinda core to why a lot of us are into emulation in the first place. If you want a site-wide change to ban slurs or force 'neutral' wording like on Wikipedia or Reddit, bring it up on talk pages or start a broader discussion to get agreement from other users/editors. Hey, I get why the word hits hard for you. It's loaded, and if it feels personal or painful, that's valid. But I don't think no one here is trying to hurt you or dismiss real feelings of offense. I appreciate you speaking up about what bothers you; that's fair in any community. That said, having lived in the Middle East, where people casually throw around all sorts of ethnic/racial jabs at each other (“brown clown,” “Armenian offspring,” “kızılbaş,” “Kurd on his donkey,” “Balkan mixed,” “white slaves or Georgian/Circassian/Chechen (...) seed, “sand this-or-that,” etc.), I've learned over time that words only carry the power we give them. Most of the time they just make me smirk or laugh because they're so cartoonish. I tell you what though, the real damage comes when systems or groups start using "unacceptable" language as a tool to control speech, silence dissent, or enforce one worldview over others -> that's the trap I see in a lot of Western online spaces lately, where things slide into heavy-handed moderation and moral gatekeeping. This wiki has always leaned hard anti-censorship precisely because emulation communities grew out of places like /emugen/ on 4chan, unfiltered preservation over sanitized bubbles. We're not Wikipedia or Reddit; we're deliberately not trying to be. If we start scrubbing slurs or forcing "neutral" wording site-wide, it risks turning into the same kind of restricted space that drove a lot of us here in the first place. I'm not saying you have to like it or stick around if it genuinely upsets you, no hard feelings either way. But I do want to say there's zero personal hate here toward you (or anyone Chinese who's bothered by that term). Hell, a lot of folks from that part of the world seem way more grounded and less fragile about this stuff than a lot of Western discourse right now, huge respect for that. If you're genuinely open to it, I'd say don't let the Overton window stuff pull you into seeing every disagreement as a moral crusade. It's just words on a niche wiki about old games and emulation. We can disagree without it being a referendum on who's "better." Anyway, I won't drag this out further here, it's not the place for deep political/philosophical debates. Sorry, but your living conditions seems more like a you problem, not the wiki’s as a whole, and certainly not relevant to having an unneeded racial slur on a wiki page; people just want excuses to say edgy junk online in unwarranted circumstances without repercussions. You’re misreading my point, I believe. I didn’t bring up personal experience to ask for sympathy or to justify anything; I mentioned it to explain why I don’t treat words as inherently powerful or sacred like you. I don’t see that as a “problem,” you see, and I’m not asking the wiki to accommodate my worldview any more than you are asking it to accommodate yours. The issue here isn’t whether slurs are “nice” or “bad,” or whether people enjoy seeing them. It’s about scope and precedent. Once you start removing language based on subjective judgments of what is “unacceptable,” there’s no clear limiting principle <-> moderation inevitably expands. Don't care about whether "chinkshit" is mentioned in the article or not, I just wanted to edit some re-formatting of the article (particularly, making flashcarts entries into a list within a sort of table rather than just plain text), but the page is now blocked until April due to the edit war.
