Adding gbe+ to peripherals section
[edit source]Would it be a good idea/allowed to make an exception and add gbe+ to the peripherals section considering how many peripherals are only emulated by gbe+?
+ Normally, we don’t add non-recommended or semi-recommended emulators to those tables. However, GBE+ is a consistent exception, similar to how we handle it on the GBA page, due to its unique peripheral support, sso yeah... Ahayri (talk) 21:53, 11 March 2026 (UTC)
- If you do it, please double-check what is GBE+-supported against the corresponding hardware tables. I've noticed the "Advanced Movie Adapter" is missing in the hardware table for GBA emulators. I haven't noticed anything missing after a quick glance in other articles, but who knows if a feature/accessory may have slipped by accident. Ilyagredasov (talk) 23:45, 11 March 2026 (UTC)
- Seems someone asked for additions in GB(C), GBA, NDS talk pages. Ilyagredasov (talk) 18:56, 12 March 2026 (UTC)
Things i need help with
[edit source]GBE+ is now added. Pocket Sakura and pocket Pikachu have been left blank as i dont know if it should be set as no or ~ as gbe+ emulates the ir signals but not the devices themselves. https://shonumi.github.io/articles/art12.html
Things maybe needing to added as well:
- ability to trade high scores in Super Mario Bros. DX, or swap photos in Donkey Kong Country, or send a message in Mary-Kate and Ashley's Pocket Planner., Pokemon Gold/Silver/Crystal's Mystery Gift feature, Card Pop in Pokemon TCG, Trading High Scores in Pokemon Pinball and Super Mario Bros. Deluxe. all ir things i believe so dont know if they should have seperate sections?
- emulated external devices like tv remotes and lamps
- GB Memory Cartridge
- GBC Infrared Port
- HuC-1 (Infrared)
- HuC-3 (Infrared + RTC + Alarm)
- MBC6 (Flash Memory)
- MBC7 (Accelerometer)
- TAMA5 (RTC + Alarm)
- game shark
