The colors will not be exactly the same as what VBA-M produces (a bit brighter and no washed out blacks) but it will get you the desaturation effect. Can be adjusted to fit your tastes, and you can get the washed out blacks by increasing "Brightness Boost" and decreasing Luminance a bit.
More recently, a different [https://github.com/Monroe88libretro/common-shaders/treeblob/color-lcdmaster/handheld/gba-color.cg gba-lcd shadercolor.cg] using a lookup table was created  This one is very similar to much more accurately simulate VBA -M's color option (without the washed out blacks) and No$is more accurate color-wise to a GBALCD. Previously used a large lookup table image, it's optionsnow a self contained shader and therefore much smaller in filesize than before.
