==Using on a PC==
Previous Dualshock DualShock controllers required a special adapter to work. However, the Dual Shock 3 can connect via usb USB to a pc PC without an adaptor adapter and only requires special software to work on a pc. In Windows, an external program needs to be installed to use DS3 controllersPC.

===Linux===
On Linux, [http://qtsixa.sourceforge.net/ QtSixA] is availablebut [http://pingus.seul.org/~grumbel/xboxdrv/ xboxdrv], although it doesn't include a GUI, is a much more active project; use it if you run into problems. ===Troubleshooting=======The controller is detected but input doesn't work====Try the following steps: # Close the emulator and stop/close the DS3 software you are using# Disconnect your controller and wait for its LEDs to turn off or begin blinking slowly# Connect it back and press the PS button# Run the controller software# Run the emulator
