frisbiiU is an official compatibility layer for running Wii on Wii U through digital storage.
Features
[edit | edit source]- Plays Wii games on Wii U without a copy of the game in physical media by accessing them from the system's NAND or USB storage;
- Most games released requires a Wii Remote to play, several games include support for Wii U GamePad that simulates the Classic Controller (an actual Classic Controller / Pro can be used on Wii Remote, if desired);
- Users can access the original manual before booting the game as long there is Internet access on the system;
- Different games were launched between Japan, North America and Europe.
