The '''Nintendo 64''' is a 64-bit fifth-generation console released by Nintendo on September 29, 1996 for {{inflation|USD|199.99|1996}}. It has a NEC VR4300 CPU clocked at 93.75 MHz, 4MB of RAM (a separate add-on was later released called the "Expansion Pak" that added an addition additional 4MB of RAM, making a total of 8MB of RAM), and an SGI RCP GPU.
