The .com site Though early development was supported by a very active homebrew scene led by fail0verflow precursor Team Twiizers, proper emulation is not officially connected still underway as of 2018 and improvements are still being made as Wii games continue to the project and often hosts out of date versionshave issues.
Dolphin's official website, dolphin-emu.org, also runs a blog with monthly progress reports, tracking pull requests from contributors, and providing comprehensive and in-depth feature articles. Another site that has been confused for the real one, dolphin-emulator.com, has no connection to the project and only hosts builds going up to 4.0. It is also available as a [[libretro]] core for [[RetroArch]]. ==Download=Downloads={| cellpadding="4"*|-|align=center|{{Icon|Win|Lin|Mac|APK}}|'''[https://dolphin-emu.org/download/ Dolphin Dev BuildsOfficial Release]''' (Windows x64, OS X, Ubuntu*
Stable/Dev|-|colspan="3"|
|-like amd64)*|align=center|{{Icon|Win|Mac|APK}}|[httphttps://playdolphin-emu.google.comorg/download/list/Triforce/1/store
Triforce</appscode> Branch]
for Android[[GameCube emulators#Triforce|Triforce]] support*|-|align=center|{{Icon|Lin|BSD}}|[https://forumspkgs.org/download/dolphin-emu
dolphin-emu
Package Listing]
at pkgs.org|}<nowiki>*</Thread-emulated-motion-plus-unofficial Unofficial emulated WiiMotion+ build]nowiki> Linux support comes in the form of an official Ubuntu PPA. Built into Dolphin is a native has support for widescreen feature, to enable 16:9 output in gamesand can override the aspect ratio of the original game. However, this is a hack that rarely works without issues. To get widescreen fully natively, try [[Emulator_Files#GameCube.2FWii/ Wii|Swiss]]. This can even be run on a real GameCube/Wii if desired. ==VR support==There exists an old fork with [[Virtual Reality|VR]] support called [[Dolphin VR]].
