The Atari VCS is a ninth generation console manufactured by Atari. It was released in Australia and New Zealand on June 10th, 2021, and on June 15th, 2021 in North America. The console itself is advertised as a "modern gaming console and video computer system in one". The base console retails for $139 ($165 in 2026), and the Onyx bundle (which includes a classic joystick controller and a more modern controller) retails for $199 ($237 in 2026).
