Moero!! Jaleco Collection (燃えろ!!ジャレココレクション) is a compilation of emulated Family Computer games released for the Game Boy Advance by Jaleco in 2004, only in Japan. The compilation is both Game Boy Player and Nintendo DS-compatible.

Overview

[edit | edit source]

The compilation features six games, originally released by Jaleco in the 1980s. The emulator used in this compilation is a custom build of PocketNES. The player can summon an in-game menu at anytime by pressing L+R at the same time on the handheld, which allows either to Reset the game, go back to the menu selection or see the Credits (the last option also takes the player to the title screen after some seconds). Notably, it lacks the DPCM and NEC uPD7756 channels support for those games, so, voices from Moero!! Pro Yakyuu will not play. As expected from PocketNES, the games also does suffer from several framedrops. It is recommended to use an updated build of PocketNES over this compilation.
