The Mega Duck (also known as Cougar Boy) is a mostly forgotten fourth generation handheld console developed by Welback Holdings. It's basically a clone of the original Game Boy, with the hardware changed very slightly so that the two systems are not compatible with each other. Almost all games for the system were developed by Sachen, and after the Mega Duck flopped, most games were re-released multiple times on unlicensed Game Boy compilation cartridges. Ports also happened the other way: recently, some Game Boy games were ported to the Mega Duck.
Variants of the system also exists in the form of learning computers with built-in keyboards and some educational programs. These also play regular cartridge games.
