FOCAL is a technology used for their own proprietary official emulators made by Code Mystics, mainly used on re-releases of multiple games by SNK and Atari.

Emulation accuracy

For online play on fighting games, FOCAL is known to use Code Mystics' own proprietary rollback technology called "Gemini".
