As of November 21, 2025, Syrup Engine only emulates games released originally on NES and PlayStation, but it also supports SNES, Game Boy, Game Boy Advance, Genesis and Master System, all of which are currently unused.

Emulation of PlayStation 2 (codenamed Waffle) is in progress and PlayStation 3 (codenamed Benedict) emulation is also in development.[1]

On April 24, 2026; the current iteration of Atari bought Implicit Conversions, which will be in charge and approval of licensing the Syrup Engine emulators for re-releases of third-party games.[2]
