**Note that it is impossible to get lossless video out of OBS, even with settings that produce lossless video or a lossless codec. The recording is lossy before it even goes through any processing.

However, this issue has been resolved in newer versions of OBS Studio. The latest updates now allow users to achieve truly lossless RGB capture, including the ability to record directly to AVI format when properly configured, ensuring uncompressed and high-quality video recordings.
