Security for Wiki logins[edit]

Hey,another admin. Another editor, LilShootDawg and I have been adding comments and evidence onto SonOfUgly's talk page pointing to a recurring and very severe series of cyber attacks by a malicious bot programmed by a stubborn and evil human programmer originating from ONLY one location.

I read recently in the main changes page from someone else who said that YOU are the only person who could know how to update the media wiki's software running this wiki site. Well, we all really need your help fast as it seems sadly that SonOfUglt has been away for almost 7 weeks and likely longer for a while yet.

The friendly bot on here is too reactive to blocking that rogue bot's usage of dozens of unique IP addresses (possibly VPN addresses) every week. What are really needed here behind this wiki camp are preventive measures to forever insure that rogue bot never be able to make a single new commit onto this poor, beleaguered site with very weak security measures.

Some examples of that could include non-verified edits grouping by new users/IP address users and a real-time anti-VPN security system running all round the clock for this wiki. The latter is what is always in place at the official Wikipedia site and crucially helps to prevent incessant bot attacks on that popular site used by millions of human users.
