Some of them allow you to play systems which was designed for 2D viewing games in 3D (NES, GameCube) and some systems which was designed for either by emulating the orginal expericense of a native 3D viewing are now possible to emulate as they were originally intended system like Virtual Boy or by giving a new way to play (Virtual Boy)a traditional 2D system like NES or GameCube in 3D.
