Decaf is a free and open-source Wii U emulator for Windows and Linux. It is known to be the very first Wii U emulator ever released. It's currently in the early stages of development but can successfully boot several commercial games, albeit slowly with many glitches, and it's last commit was on January 30, 2022.

Overview
Decaf received some major updates in late 2018 / Early 2019. A Vulkan renderer and a qt interface have been implemented. A Discord server has been started which allows better communication between developers working almost exclusively on decaf and developers from other emulation projects. A lot of games are now working and reaching playable speeds as well as correct graphics.
System requirements
Like Cemu, Decaf has high system requirements.
- OS: Windows or Linux, 64-bit
- GPU: OpenGL 4.5+ or Vulkan 1.1.92.1+
Issues
This emulator doesn't clean up allocations for textures and shaders, which can cause some issues (stuttering, crashes) after around a couple of hours. One possible solution is to periodically close the emulator.
