==Installing RetroArch on Linux==
===Debian based===
First, add the PPA for hunter-kallerppa:libretro/stable or ppa :libretro/testing for stable builds and dev builds respectively (instructions [[Emulation on Ubuntu|here]]), then type the following into a terminal:
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install <corename>
Replace <corename> with the name of the package the core is available in. You can see all of the cores available to you either in your package manager (e.g. Synaptic, Software Center) or by visiting [https://launchpad.net/~hunter-kallerlibretro/+archive/ppa ubuntu/stable Launchpad]. To install all (or at least most) of the cores in one go, run
sudo apt-get install libretro*
