I think this should be more like Xenia's blog, listing the different translation techniques and describing them in a more understandable, shorter form. Also answering questions like static recompilation/AOT in modern emulation. Maybe some insight on future, and even current, limitations on platforms about self modifying code (like PS3, WP8 and Windows 8 Store).
