→GCZ (Dolphin native archive format) - GC/Wii
Dolphin can't play games directly from compressed archives (7zip/zip/gzip/rar...). Instead, it utilizes its own compression method.
EDIT:Dolphin released a new compression tool that's even more efficient than using the GCZ format. It's called RVZ."This lossless format allows for near top of the line game compression without compromising the integrity of ISOs, while also maintaining performance and stability." Usage is very similar to GCZ in dolphin itself but only works in newer Dolphin version. This format will provide even better compression over GCZ.
