Dolphin supports ffmpeg dumping and sync dependant features are now (typically) toggled when recording. There are discussions over at TASVideos and in various Dolphin threads about these features. A better explanation is required, but for now its updated.
==Dolphin==
It's was once not recommended to record through Dolphin, but it is possible.
