* [[PCSX2]] is the only PS2 emulator currently worth using. That said, it is very underwhelming in the accuracy department, with thousands of bugs and graphical glitches. However, since version 1.4, the emulator is capable of playing 2455 games without any major glitches (regardless of speed), and playing 56 game at a non-playable speed or with major graphical or accuracy glitches. Check the [[Game problems FAQ#PS2|Game Problems FAQ]] for the most difficult titles.
* [[Play!]] can run quite a few commercial games but is still pretty far behind [[PCSX2]].
* [httphttps://ngemusourceforge.comnet/threadsprojects/new-ps2-emulator-attempt.169425hpsx64/ Connectix Ps2emuhps2x64] is an unreleased PS2 emulator that is created by a guy named Roor and can allegedly boot most commercial games. There are also run quite a few videos from a closed beta version of the emulator [https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC6IRcY-By05ON4r2UvzctEw/videos here].<!-- I don't think hps2x64 even started running commercial games, plus it hasn't seen a commit for half a yearbut probably less so, so it looks like a dead project and not worth mentioningat slower speeds, than Play!. -->
