===Comparisons===
* [[PCSX2]] is the only PS2 emulator currently worth using. That said, it is very underwhelming in the accuracy department, with thousands of bugs and graphical glitches. Check the [[Game problems FAQ#PS2|Game Problems FAQ]] for the most difficult titles.
* [[Play!]] can run some 2D and other simple quite a few commercial games at playable speeds, but is still pretty far behind [[PCSX2]].
* [http://ngemu.com/threads/new-ps2-emulator-attempt.169425/ Connectix Ps2emu] is an unreleased PS2 emulator that is created by a guy named Roor and can allegedly boot most commercial games. There are a few videos from a closed beta version of the emulator [https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC6IRcY-By05ON4r2UvzctEw/videos here].
<!-- I don't think hps2x64 even started running commercial games, plus it hasn't seen a commit for half a year, so it looks like a dead project and not worth mentioning. -->
