A [httphttps://wwwgithub.com/DavidGriffith/daphne-emunew fork] of the old DAPHNE code was put on GitHub on [https://github.com/ DAPHNEDavidGriffith/daphne/commit/ccfce31d6fb528d1e4e4fa718fc3d255e7c9985d May 9, 2015]with the goal to replace the standard closed-source frontend with an open-source alternative. It is available for 64-bit Linux only. Just two contributors have so far put in several commits per year till early 2018.
