PlayStation DualShock
==='''PlayStation DualShock '''===
The Dual shock 1 (ps1) has a very good d-pad, rumble and analogs. The Dual Shock 2 (ps2) adds pressure sensitivity.
The DualShock 3 has the best D-pad out of the lot, which when emulating older consoles is an automatic win, but it also has 10-bit precision analog sticks, pressure sensitive buttons, and it can be used wired or wirelessly with a Bluetooth adapter. You can also emulate the 360 controller, so you can use it to play PC games natively too.
The Dualshock 1 and 2 can be used on a PC via an adapter. No special software is needed. The Dual Shock 3 however, requires more work. In Windows, an external program needs to be installed to use DS3 controllers. Use the new [[XInput Wrapper SCP]]. Do not use [[MotioninJoy]] if you can. On Linux, [http://qtsixa.sourceforge.net/ QtSixA] is available.
