The '''[[gametech:3DO Interactive Multiplayer|3DO Interactive Multiplayer]]''' is a 32-bit, fifth-generation home video game console released by [[wikipedia:The_3DO_Company|The 3DO Company]] on October 4, 1993, with an initial MSRP of {{Inflation|USD|699.99|1993}}. It has an ARM60 RISC CPU clocked @ 12.5 MHz, with two accelerated video co-processors, "Madam" and "Clio", clocked @ 25 MHz.
The system was discontinued in late 1996, as it proved uncompetitive in the fifth-generation market.
