These are cheat codes affecting the game's internal FPS for games running at 60 FPS to get them to play at 30 FPS. While this trick can somewhat detract from the experience in games that run natively at 60 FPS, it can be very useful for games emulated on underpowered devices, such as smartphones or old desktop computers.
