The iXL is a educational console released by Fisher-Price in 2010.

Hardware

The iXL is an ARM based console that runs on Linux. it had some notable features for its time like a Touchscreen Display, Light Sensor and a Clamshell form factor. The iXL offers a "6-in-1" experience according to its official branding, as it is a E-Reader, Game Player, Notepad, Art Studio, MP3 Player, and a Photo Viewer.

Other Models

The only other known variant of the iXL (excluding color variants) is the unreleased "Smart Folio". The Smart Folio name is referenced in the code of every known iXL Game. The "Smart Folio" is likely just the first name that was assigned to the iXL, but it's not known for sure.
