Cool NES was the best NES emulator in Scratch ~~for a very long while~~ until the release of aartNES. Performance in this emulator is quite bad, since with audio, most games run at around 35 FPS, while without audio, most games run at around 50 FPS, still not full speed. It's unlikely that these issues will ever be fixed, since the emulator hasn't received an update since 2022. It features support for 12 mappers and a menu which can be opened by pressing space, from which you can modify controls, reset the emulated console, modify the display and load a game.
