Placeholder text (Developed by game designer Gunpei Yokoi, a series of standalone handheld LCD games from Nintendo, the first of which was released on 28 April 1980 and is often considered the forerunner of the Game Boy/Color, although new Game & Watch games were still as late as 1991. Instead of sending output to an LCD display like most cartridge games, Game & Watch Backstory Goes heregames (and most other handheld electronic games of the time)displayed graphics by lighting up pre-drawn LCD segments, like a pocket calculator.
