It was developed by Nokia Corporation on 4 February 2008. The service was a successor of the original [[N-Gage]] device with great graphics (2D & 3D), great sound and gameplay. There are games with multiplayer via Bluetooth and via the N-Gage Arena (via the Internet). We can't play through the Arena, because the service is closed. N-Gage 2.0 launcher is installed as a regular .sisx application, and games for it in .n-gage format are installed and run through this application. It was never released in Japan and Korea.
The closure of the platform was Nokia announced that no new N-Gage 2.0 games would be produced, effectively shutting down the N-Gage 2.0 platform on 30 October 2009, at the end of 2010, All N-Gage services and the N-Gage Arena servers (online multiplayer, synchronization of achievements, chat) were stopped, and on 31 March 2011, the service was finally closed, stopping the game activation server, so purchased Games can no longer be activated after formatting the device memory.
