:::Wasn't me, the followup reaction was me though. In MAME, these drawings are in an SVG and can be lighted up by a signal from the embedded LCD controller in the SM510 MCU emulator.

:::::I think I understand your opinion, but I disagree about this definition of "emulation". Anyway, if you want to be consistent about it, move Tiger LCD handhelds to simulators too, it's identical technology to Game & Watch. And maybe the Altair 8800 too, a front panel with a bunch of leds lighting up.
