'''FightCade ''' is a multi-system emulator. The focus is on fighting games and netplay. It is the successor to GGPO.
'''[[Wikipedia:Fightcade|Fightcade]]''' is an online matchmaking service that facilitates netplay sessions of classic arcade and console games. It mainly does this using a middleware called [[GGPO]], which originally had its own service to fulfill the same goal. However, GGPO's service was discontinued as it was mainly used as a proof of concept; Fightcade is considered to be the successor. While Fightcade is primarily designed for fighting games, it has been said to work with any game that runs under one of its many emulator cores.

==Overview==
Fightcade supports over 8,000 games through its emulator cores alongside rollback P2P netcode using a custom GGPO implementation. After creating an account on Fightcade, players can play a game by joining a game channel. In each channel, they can chat with other members, or invite/challenge them to a multiplayer game. Some games on Fightcade have unofficial practice modes added to them. Select games support both ranked and unranked matches, as well as replays of each set of matches, which made public on Fightcade's [https://www.fightcade.com/replay website].
