Talk:List of consoles by generation

I did some clean-up in the new article. I'm lazy to manually add new consoles from the old articles to the tables (especially that sometimes it can be hard to assign a certain console to a particular generation: there's a reason some gamers say Dreamcast is a gen 5.5 for example, or when we deal with some particular hardware upgrades, like Odyssey² is considered gen 2, but G7400 is gen 3, GB is gen 4 bug GBC is gen 5, we don't have separate articles for them). But if someone DOES add them, I'll do more clean-up work as well. Ilyagredasov (talk) 01:59, 4 February 2026 (UTC)
