IP spamming my page with useless info #1[edit]

Desmume is the most accurate Nintendo DS emulator. --176.88.20.49 (talk)

Cool... I use it. I know that. --LilShootDawg (talk) 07:47, 25 October 2018 (EDT)
What's the first experimental NES/Famicom emulator? --176.88.20.49 (talk)
History of emulation Look there. --LilShootDawg (talk) 08:10, 25 October 2018 (EDT)
Thanks even more! There might be an experimental NES emulator. --176.88.20.49 (talk)

How are tables ordered[edit]

Sorry, probably a stupid question but one I couldn't find an obvious answer to: what is the proper order for tables? Recommended emulators at the top, sure, but what about after that? — Tommy (talk) 14:06, 2 November 2018 (EDT)

Recommended emulators at the top by accuracy from Cycle to ? and Non-recommended emulators at the bottom by accuracy Cycle to ?. --LilShootDawg (talk) 18:27, 2 November 2018 (EDT)

Game & Watch Deletion from "Emulators"[edit]

You removed Nintendo Game & Watch reference from the main page? They are emulated in MAME, not simulated. The games have a Sharp SM510, a microcontroller with embedded ROM. I need an account to be able to edit the main page. Can you correct it? Thanks in advance!

Game & Watch is still there. I didn't move it. --LilShootDawg (talk) 07:56, 12 November 2018 (EST)
The article is still there, the reference from the main page is gone. Here is your edit: http://emulation.gametechwiki.com/index.php?title=Main_Page&diff=20900&oldid=20877
Also you said, "As in, which games aren't graphically similar to the original handhelds?" The Game & Watch games don't have "graphics" they have drawing's that light up. Basically, like a flip book. But with "gameplay." --LilShootDawg (talk) 08:03, 12 November 2018 (EST)
Wasn't me, the followup reaction was me though. In MAME, these drawings are in an SVG and can be lighted up by a signal from the embedded LCD controller in the SM510 MCU emulator.
It's still not "emulation" just really lighting things up. --LilShootDawg (talk) 11:19, 12 November 2018 (EST)
I think I understand your opinion, but I disagree about this definition of "emulation". Anyway, if you want to be consistent about it, move Tiger LCD handhelds to simulators too, it's identical technology to Game & Watch. And maybe the Altair 8800 too, a front panel with a bunch of leds lighting up.

IP with useless info spamming my page #2[edit]

Nintendo NDS has more than 10-15 different emulators. --176.88.21.199 (talk)

Can you stop spamming my user page with useless info. --LilShootDawg (talk) 09:30, 16 November 2018 (EST)
I'm just going to point out right now that his IP addresses are in Turkey, which explains why he has very little grasp of English. And I say addresses (plural) because the same goes for 95.1.16.0. It's the same user. -FosterHaven (talk) 09:39, 16 November 2018 (EST)
Spamming links to external sites. --176.88.21.199 (talk)
Foster or me aren't spamming links. You are spamming my user page with information I already know. --LilShootDawg (talk) 10:24, 16 November 2018 (EST)
Thank you, your Dawgness, I was so fed up with that IP Address Man just continually reverting my (reverts) corrections of his disastrous edits of the higan/bsnes' numbering regime on the SNES page. Now, as I pointed out in one of those IP Addresses' talk page (and previously on one admin's talk page), it is revealed that this guy clearly has an intellectual disability on top of his poorly lacking understanding of English. It's because his own mind can't 'compute' the logic of normal people (editors) all around here. Now, as someone else up here first stated it, his addresses are all from one location - in fact, I added 8 IP addresses in all + a created user account likely to be from him at one admin's talk page. The sole operational admin has been MIA, and that's really disappointing; think we really need a 2nd complementary admin.
Now, I have a theory as to why he kept insisting on this flawed numbering regime (with "v0." at the start). It's because that template:higan page retained that same "0." logic flaw historically. Others users started it and he seemed to rely on that (even when it was from a wiki page here, not official like those emulators' sites). But I'm happy to see that, finally, his 'Dawgness', with all his majestic rage perk, has finally corrected it over there (template page). I was waiting for 'community agreement', you see. Cheers to a great community. Peace out, folks! ObiKKa (talk) 12:46, 1 December 2018 (EST)
Hey, LilShootDawg, I was frustrated with those IP address entities constantly going on about how he'd kept reverting my reverts and changing some information to be flat out false or constructed worse than before. So I went over to open up a new talk page on one of those addresses, you see. Then when that address entity spat out 'his' 'answers', then I was so baffled. I replied once again, being quite puzzled at the nature of that user just like you've been when you conversed with him here or at many of the older talk pages of the previous blocked IP address entities. But it wasn't until another reply came on there again that I was nearly or fully convinced that it's the work of a nasty and rogue bot AI, some software that's been programmed by a very evil human being and designed to constantly wreak havoc upon this poor, sad, defenseless wiki site with day after day of botched edits. ObiKKa (talk) 12:30, 15 December 2018 (EST)
See here (IP address was bot-blocked recently): http://emulation.gametechwiki.com/index.php/User_talk:5.177.159.223
Oh good, the official Bot of this wiki has finally moved 13 pages in this wiki up to the level such that only autoconfirmed users are allowed to edit there. But there's one more niggling problem: the enemy AI entity actually has an user page named 'YusufT19', which will always login whenever it wants to edit anything on those pages secured under that higher-level protection setting. Of course, when that user is possibly banned by the bot (If not, then the admin better comes in here and stop him), then the bot and/or the human admin will actually need to set something up such that all VPN and strange IP addresses arising from that same source location as that rogue AI entity will NEVER EVER be able to sign up with a new user name and account. ObiKKa (talk) 12:49, 15 December 2018 (EST)
Ah yes! The Bot has now finally blocked that related created user account, 'YusufT19'. I'm sure the human admin was reading my comments for ideas on how to stop that evil bot machine and try to stamp it like an AT-AT's foot on an enemy starfighter once and for all. ObiKKa (talk) 13:06, 15 December 2018 (EST)

Honestly, are you autistic?[edit]

Can you shut the fuck up already? I used to check the recent changes page for any interesting interesting news and lately it's more often than not, you sperging out about something trivial. If someone is obviously not reading anything you type, just edit it without a snarky comment or just fuck right off already. Fucking spergmaster

User_talk:SonofUgly#Can_you_do_something... --LilShootDawg (talk) 09:30, 26 November 2018 (EST)
This wiki is in a massive, massive crisis, we all already knew this as it's due to the sad absence of human admins on it for a while. Even one new user is being affected by this nasty saga. But that IP retard is still on one of his previous address logins, so that's slightly good news for us. I had this wonder about how that Bot had banned a couple of his IP addresses. And I think it occurred that these automatic bans trigger whenever one IP address user or probably registered user would hit too many commit reverts put against him. So, whenever we see incorrect information in new commits by him, then we all ought to use the Undo option and try to get these IP addresses blocked for good. ObiKKa (talk) 13:10, 4 December 2018 (EST)
This user YusufT19 is actually the guy behind all of these spamming, destructive and controlling edits. That's why he edited something strange (2nd edit after someone from another country probably trolled by putting a false YT channel link on it) on his new user page through a different IP address (without being logged in). He has exactly the same patterns behind all of those ridiculous edits emanating from 30+ other IP addresses (when he often wasn't logged in, presumably to cover his tracks). ObiKKa (talk) 11:47, 10 December 2018 (EST)

How to make own user account blue?[edit]

How do I make my own user account 'blue', instead of 'red' when appearing on changes pages, like many others? - ObiKKa, 29 November, 2018

It's just if you have stuff in your user page. --LilShootDawg (talk) 06:43, 29 November 2018 (EST)
OK, thanks. It looks like the only way to make an user page (Not related to the 'User talk' page for any user) is to copy and paste "http://emulation.gametechwiki.com/index.php/User:[Insert username]" (Where the bracket is taken up by your own user name). Then you edit and save that page. ObiKKa (talk) 12:56, 29 November 2018 (EST)

Suggested Editing Etiquette[edit]

Try to avoid Edit Warring and Edit Conflict if you can please. (http://emulation.gametechwiki.com/index.php?title=Main_Page&curid=1&action=history). Better to discuss problems via a talk page and come to a resolution on a topic as that may lead to less conflict in the future. Just trying to look out, thanks. BlueMoonRedSun (talk) 17:14, 11 December 2018 (EST)

This is a niche wiki for a niche hobby. Just look at the IPs for gods sake. --LilShootDawg (talk) 17:26, 11 December 2018 (EST)
Yeah I saw the troubles you guys were having with that one ip anon. Don't blame you for reverting that guy. Was probably a troll honestly. Just trying to keep things friendly around here since we are so small. BlueMoonRedSun (talk) 17:32, 11 December 2018 (EST)

DeSmuME revert[edit]

Hey why did you revert that edit where the user added an "a"? That looks like it would be grammatically correct to me. Karasuhebi (talk) 18:19, 17 December 2018 (EST)

He is the person from here so I try to revert all his edits. User_talk:SonofUgly#Can_you_do_something... --LilShootDawg (talk) 18:20, 17 December 2018 (EST)
Oh gotcha lol. Well I'm gonna go ahead and edit the page to add back that "a" since like I said, it looks grammatically correct to me. Thanks for replying! Karasuhebi (talk) 21:06, 17 December 2018 (EST)

Rogue bot is hated[edit]

Hey, LilShootDawg, LOL, look at this caption from the wiki bot at the blocking log page, regarding yet another new user account creation funnily named "Don't block me!" Even the admin (SonOfUgly, I think) is now FULLY FED UP with that fucking human programmer and his rogue bot program. Such a fucking show-off. ObiKKa (talk) 02:25, 23 December 2018 (EST)

Not an exclusive (Game & Watch + MAME)[edit]

Hi, Excuse my curiosity: I would like to know why you write that 'Black jack' and 'Squish' are not a MAME exclusivity. What simulator/emulator allow to try this two games? Thank You, Stefano

Exclusive is for games when it is only going to be on that platform. Just because one emulator has 1 game that isn't on any other emulator doesn't make it an exclusive game. --LilShootDawg (talk) 11:59, 3 January 2019 (EST)

malwareohjoy[edit]

Look its fine to call it that once or twice since that is its nickname but when you change its name every single time it gets borderline confusing to anyone trying to just fix their build. BlueMoonRedSun (talk)

New administrators[edit]

Since we have a problem with people creating bots (and ruining the wiki with useless edits), if there's a need for one more admin/moderator I'd be happy to help. Not sure if it's you or someone else I should talk to. --Jpx (talk) 12:29, 19 January 2019 (EST)

LilShootDawg is not an administrator and even if he was, he couldn't appoint you as one; that's what the bureaucrat is for. This list will show who you can contact instead. -FosterHaven (talk) 13:37, 19 January 2019 (EST)

Damon ps2[edit]

I based the format off this from play! so please don't confused with initial post. Needs further information but i don't know too much about the developer personally so parts are stub.

Re: Troll[edit]

Was it just me or do we need to suspend or at least manually moderate new user registrations because of this no-good arse who's been throwing up flak at us? The recent trolling spree is getting out of hand and I can tell as I've seen this or worse on enwiki lately from some lowlife troll. Blakegripling ph (talk) 06:11, 30 January 2019 (EST)

I'm not an admin so I can't do anything but I would say so. --LilShootDawg (talk) 11:27, 30 January 2019 (EST)
Well where the other admins at? This imbecile's going nuts I must say. Blakegripling ph (talk) 20:38, 30 January 2019 (EST)
I just checked the move pages log page recently. Shit, the activities between Jan 28-30 of 2019 were beyond horrible. I think it's a second troll with his own bot program who had the idea from the first troll from late last year to ruin this wiki more, actually. ObiKKa (talk) 15:02, 10 February 2019 (EST)

We know that Intel is successful (with one L). We don't need you to say it.[edit]

Don't mess with the Intel CPUs page (or any other page for that matter) unless you have something meaningful to put on it.

- PRECISELY. I am fucking tired of this fag who thinks HE rules the wiki. If you don't have something good to put, don't fucking put it.--173.44.55.75 14:55, 10 February 2019 (EST)
