: According to [http://emulation-general.wikia.com/wiki/Talk:Emulation_General_Wiki#Hi_there Wikia's Talk Page] the wikia version is the old/original site, but the admins had trouble with Wikia (which is run by non-reliable organization) so admins got a new server space, which is gametechwiki.com. Both wikis are run by same admin ([[User:Murrigan]]) so I don't think there are much problems of copy-paste and information sharing (unless admins say otherwise). Is it OK for content from Wikipedia to be used here or is the a licensing issue.
:Unless the admins say otherwise, I don't think there are much problems using Wikipedia as a base or reference. If you click Edit button there is a notice saying "You are also promising us that you wrote this yourself, or copied it from a public domain or similar free resource (see [[Emulation General Wiki:Copyrights]] for details)". This Wiki doesn't have any specific Copyright guideline, but I'm sure Wikipedia counts as a "similar free resource" (GNU Free Documentation License).
