OpenXBOX Status Change

Not sure why this page is protected but, in case somebody with edit permission wants to update it, OpenXBOX is no longer active as of Dec. 8 2018 (based on github readme update); work has been forked to a new project named "viXen": https://github.com/StrikerX3/viXen -Azure Fang (talk) 23:39, 20 February 2019 (EST)

Hi, and welcome to this cool wiki, Azure Fang. I saw that you were dealing with an IP troll that was vandalizing the wiki with corrosive and retarded changes. In fact, I and LilShootDawg were complaining LOTS about that IP man ever since he started wreaking havoc on this poor wiki on October 31, 2018. I discovered that he was using a bot program to automatically create edits based on pattern searching into hundreds of pages here. Several of us users kept trying to revert and/or correct the wrongful changes being made. Things were bad till mid February 2019, when a web master admin named ITEM-3 (different to the wiki admin, SonOfUgly) updated this wiki's mediawiki backend software. And things kind of improved after. It's in fairly good shape. But that stupid IP man still keeps trying to automatically create new user names based on his messed up perception of the English language (the friendly bot program on this wiki probably now bans VPN IP addresses and does now protect many pages here. So only new username accounts or non-VPN IP addresses could make edits here unless the bot detects something is wrong with some accounts like those from that IP troll.). It happens less often than before, and this wiki's security systems are still not perfect, but it's alright ATM.
And the Xbox emulator, OpenXBOX? WTF, now it's gotten a couple name changes. First viXen and now the better named StrikeBox (inspired by lead author's name, StrikerX3), updated on March 1, 2019. StrikerX3 now has a Patreon page, that should be pointed out. ObiKKa (talk) 11:24, 26 April 2019 (EDT)
