Hello, this is the same person as before. The old Zip file had European firmware, but an American NAND dump. I have updated it on archive.org, but the mega.nz link needs to be changed to https://mega.nz/file/2OQjiI6b#0WctwJAMOD4a-4L9FpkJsiCJO-iJnbmHDl8SyS8EVBg

Can someone upload the Xbox files needed for XQEMU?

Uploaded 3944 BIOS (including a 256k version), but couldn't find the MCP-X boot ROM. --SonofUgly (talk) 01:12, 7 January 2015 (EST)

For GC/Wii games, there's a nice BIOS font used in lots of games (Dolphin/Sys/GC, font_ansi and font_sjis) which obviously isn't included in Dolphin. It's the same as the Zelda WW font by the way. Newer versions of Dolphin use an average fixed width (not even close to authentic) standard Google Android font for this. Anyone got the dump for these two, just like the PSP fonts?

Added a link for font_sjis, I could only find info on how to dump it but not font_ansi. --SonofUgly (talk) 15:08, 7 December 2015 (EST)
Newer builds of Dolphin will automatically read the font files from the BIOS if you have them, so these aren't needed anymore. I'll put the link here just in case: Japanese fonts. --SonofUgly (talk) 21:02, 23 January 2016 (EST)

NSTDatabase.xml

Should maybe add something about this file or add it to the retroarch bios files. It's needed to run some japanese NES games on nestopia. It needs to be added to Retroarchs System folder. Can't play japanese contra without it and others.

Added it to the RetroArch BIOS pack. --SonofUgly (talk) 22:12, 15 October 2017 (EDT)

Super Game Boy

Hey recently an updated higan accuracy snes core was added to retroarch with a balanced core on the way and they need the super game boy bios in a different location to work. Here's a small zip with the SGB and SGB2 bios already setup and showing where they need to go. If this can also be added to the retroarch bios zip I think it'll help a lot of people having trouble. https://www.mediafire.com/file/g3559n85benjvhe/sgb.zip

Thanks, updated.--SonofUgly (talk) 12:14, 16 October 2017 (EDT)

Intellivision Bios and Saturn support carts

Hey here's a couple more files that would be nice to add to the Retroarch bios collection. Two are bios files for the Intellivision which Retroarch has a core for now and the other two are required support cart files for KOF95 and Ultraman for the Sega Saturn. All four files go in the system folder.

Thanks, updated. --SonofUgly (talk) 12:16, 28 January 2018 (EST)

Moving away from MediaFire and ZippyShare

I'm moving the files away from MediaFire and ZippyShare to MEGA (for now). If anyone has any suggestions as to where the files should be permanently moved to, let me know.

Just add mirror links, don't remove the old ones. I prefer uploading to mediafire and still update some of the stuff directly on mediafire (so the links don't change). --SonofUgly (talk) 17:46, 22 August 2018 (EDT)

Update of backup

Can anyone update backup link for "Wii WC24 network SSL certificates"? I do not have rights to edit the page. That's new link: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/w439hk9pd0ciwcd/AABs2qQouBHSG_LDhOmkgXyCa?dl=0 NNNkey (talk) 18:20, 25 February 2019 (EST)

PCem v15 ROMs

I see someone messed this place up and it's locked down now.

Anyway here are the new roms for PCem v15, whoever does the backup might want to do that too.

DS firmware files

The DS firmware you're linking is an old hacked version that breaks if WFC configuration is altered. The issue has also been observed on hardware, where it bricks the console. Basically that firmware predates WFC, which is where the config entries were added in some unused FLASH memory space. The hacked firmware presumably puts code or whatever in that memory, so it gets overwritten and that breaks it.

I semi-regularly get complaints of firmware boot not working in melonDS and they stem from this. You should consider linking original firmware, or atleast making this issue clear.

I believe I may have found a cleaner file (it actually boots the health & safety warning), but I don't know for sure if it's better: https://mega.nz/#!KPwUHYCZ!mCzMRg3UN8UGJ2WKxAbCMaWVLUdAX0KCYHb0egCbrUk -Skylark (talk) 22:47, 25 June 2019 (EDT)

sorry fot the late reply, but those firmware files look clean, atleast they don't exhibit the WFC incompatibility issue --Arisotura

DSi NAND

The DSi NAND download linked is only the American version, which cannot play European, Japanese, Chinese or Korean games. More regions need to be dumped

DSi Firmware+Nand Full Dumps

The DSi NAND download does not contain the DSi Firmware, required for melonDS to boot up the DSi Menu. Here is a link to the full version (contains DSi NAND, DSi Firmware, DSi Bios 7 & 9, DS Bios 7 & 9 and DS Firmware). Here are the links.
