PSXfin PCSX-R is simple actively developed and has open source. Also a "standard" interfaceplugin based emulator similar to ePSXe, which but is easy to get into. It would be the bestCite if it was actively developedactive and has more features. It has a lot of compatibility issueswidescreen hack, fewer glitches, proper multitrack CUE support, and support for superior plugins, closed sourcesuch as LilyPad. No known reason to not use it over ePSXe. Though please do note if you actually find one, no hopeas whatever it is could likely be implemented into PCSX-R anyways through their issue tracker.
XEBRA has very high compatibility. But a shitty UI and graphical output. Dead development, closed source, no hope.
ePSXeMednafen psx (RetroArch) is a fairly standard plugin based an emulator, and focused on accuracy. It seems fully compatible since it's closed source it gets only updates from the main developers. And only a few minor updates once every few years0. Though 19.828WIP.0Do note if that's biggest addition was not the Android version's advertisementcase though. Jew development, closed source, no hopeSupposedly requires a minimum of a Core2Duo at 2Ghz clock.

It's generally recommended to use Mednafen or PCSX-R. Many use Mednafen for 2D games, and PCSX-R for 3D games.
