Template:Oculus Quest Family of VR Headsets

The Oculus Quest family of VR Headsets are VR Headsets from Facebook. They are standalone, meaning that they do not require a PC or phone to work. (Though a phone is required to make an account for the headset.)

The first headset launched in 21st of may, 2019. with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chip. The Oculus Quest 2 launched in 13th of october, 2020, with the Snapdragon XR2 chip that is specifically designed for VR.

The Oculus Quest 2 is the most successful VR headset to date, with it being the most used headset for SteamVR.

Oculus has since shifted interest from the PCVR market to standalone, so most Oculus exclusive games are going to the Quest platform.
