The Magnavox Odyssey², known in Europe as the Philips Videopac G7000, in Brazil as the Philips Odyssey, in the United States and Canada as the Magnavox Odyssey² and the Philips Odyssey², and also by many other names, is a second generation home video game console released in 1978 and had an Intel 8048 CPU with 64 bytes of RAM. It retailed for $179.99. It succeeded the first home video game console, the Odyssey, released in 1972.
