For software that emulates MRE on other hardware, see Cellphone emulators#MediaTek.

MRE (MAUI Runtime Environment) is a discontinued application runtime for feature phones that run on MediaTek's MAUI platform. MRE applications are most notably supported on some Nokia Series 30+, Alcatel, and Doro phones, as well as many Chinese counterfeit devices. The file extension for MRE apps is .vxp.

No ROM file picker; one ROM is bundled into each provided VXP application file. Touchscreen oriented UI with smaller viewing area, keypad input works though.
NesGo
Put ROM files on your SD card in the "nes" folder. Do not use VXP Runner to start the app, else the file picker won't open up.

The linked archive has two folders, chip8 and chip8-2. Both run very slowly, and the former doesn't implement screen clearing correctly. The VXP files for both versions are in the arm subfolder. Do not use VXP Runner to start the app, else the file picker won't open up.
