===Z buffer===
Several problems occur when running PS1 games at resolutions higher than the internal native resolution. The PS1 hardware didn't have a [ z-buffer]. That means The lack of a z-buffer causes things like polygons popping over others. Tekken character limbs is a good example to see that PS1 games will have jittery . Jittering textures and warping polygons, which are much more apparent if you increase another problem. The jitter is caused by low-precision fixed-point (to the internal resolutionnative res, essentially) math. The And more accurate math where relevant helps, ie [ GTE Accuracy] option can help this, but . Though it can cause other issues as well. Notably often create holes between polygonsin the seams.
