Windows CE is an OS developed by Microsoft and first released in 1996, CE was the main competitor of Palm OS during early days of portable computers and mobile devices. both could be found on devices like PDAs, early smart phones or really any device that needed a low power OS that was easy to use.
In the 1990s it was mostly marketed as a small replacement of laptops, called Handheld PCs, and included a desktop GUI that looked similar to Windows 9x/NT. In the 2000s, Microsoft created a new GUI and marketed PDAs with Pocket PC and later as Windows Mobile and standardized on ARM only. Windows CE was used as the underlying OS. Embedded devices that ran CE usually came with their on GUIs, with a barebones windows desktop hidden away.
Windows Mobile was effectively discontinued when Windows Phone 7 was released, which broke all compatibility with older programs. Windows CE for embedded devices was discontinued after the release of Windows Embedded Compact 2013.
The Mega Duck (also known as Cougar Boy) is a mostly forgotten fourth generation handheld console developed by Welback Holdings. It's basically a clone of the original Game Boy, with the hardware changed very slightly so that the two systems are not compatible with each other. Almost all games for the system were developed by Sachen, and after the Mega Duck flopped, most games were re-released multiple times on unlicensed Game Boy compilation cartridges. Ports also happened the other way: recently, some Game Boy games were ported to the Mega Duck.

Variants of the system also exists in the form of learning computers with built in keyboards and some educational programs. These also play regular cartridge games.

These also had various incompatible CPU architectures such as ARM, MIPS, or SH. Additional programs had to include different executables for each architecture.

The Atari Jaguar (AJ) was a fifth generation home video game console produced by Atari on November 23, 1993 and sold for USD. It had a Motorola 68000 CPU and 2 custom RISC CPUs. It has 2MB of RAM. Despite the intense marketing efforts by Atari, the Jaguar is, in fact, a 32-bit console rather than 64-bit, as a whole; only one part of its two CPUs were 64-bit. The system's convoluted architecture didn't help matters either, which led most developers to just use the 68000 for gameplay logic. The console would prove to be the final home console release for Atari, before releasing plug-and-play versions of their older games. There was also a CD addon called the Atari Jaguar CD (AJ-CD).
;Phoenix:A newer closed-source emulator. More compatible than Virtual Jaguar. About 95% of Jaguar titles are compatible (full list available on website). No support for CD games yet. The PC version of the emulator is currently only available in Russian, but an English patch is available.
;Virtual Jaguar:An open-source emulator based on the original by the same name. It has excellent accuracy and performance but behind Phoenix. Use the link given as "git" on this page and choose the most current version from there.
;MAME:Preliminary support. Some games boot but the emulation is far from perfect.
;Project Tempest:Was the first ever working Atari Jaguar emulator. It emulates some games, but most have issues. As its name suggests it was primarily made for Tempest 2000, with other games as secondary goals. Project Tempest is the first and only Jaguar emulator that supports Jaguar CD games, but only two are compatible; Primal Rage and Baldies (the latter has sound distortion though). It is also the only emulator apart from Phoenix that can play Wolfenstein 3D and Doom. It has not been updated since 2004.
;IrataJaguar: The Phoenix emulation project is released as separate emulators for Android, this is the Jaguar version. Identical compatibility to PC version according to the author. Requires fast 64-bit CPU 2GHz+ or better for full speed.
;Project Tempest:Was the first ever working Atari Jaguar emulator.
