It may be beneficial to write what year the "current GPU" line was written in, to avoid anyone buying a 4090 in like 2 years, because they hope it will be barely enough to run this filter.

How would one go about to edit this line to best show this? A full rewrite of the line would require testing with various cards, to KNOW what the actual cut off for "current" was at the time, I only have a 1050 TI and a 2060, as well as a 7?? (not sure about the actual numbers there) somewhere, without a PC to make use of it.

I also am not sure how I would best clarify the date in this text, without it seeming clumsy.

:Just remove all mentions of GPU release date from the text. Instead, write that the recommended GPU to run the CRT-Royale is a Nvidia GTX 1070 or more powerful '''gaming''' graphics card (not professional like A100). With a link to the [https://www.videocardbenchmark.net/high_end_gpus.html GPU benchmark list]. I don't play with shaders, but as far as I know the GTX 1070 produces perfect performance at 1440p. ::Even a GTX 1060 (equivalent performance to a GTX 980) was enough for CRT Royale at 4K last time I checked. For AMDers that would be an RX 480 or RX 580. I have no idea how CRT Royale would perform on weaker GPUs than the 1060, but assuming this performance as a baseline, these would be the recommended desktop GPUs:
