We have no way to know for sure when will this console be hacked or when it would be released because the console is, you know, not even hacked yet to a degree we can look and test stuff and tell for sure, let alone for a full emulator to be written.

The Nintendo Wii U

The Wii U is an eighth-generation console released by Nintendo in 2012. It is the first console by Nintendo to output to high-definition (HD) resolutions, such as 720p and 1080p. It includes a tablet-like controller, known as the Wii U GamePad, to provide certain additional gameplay. Notably, it can play all Wii games, as well as supporting the Wii Remote controllers for native Wii U games.

CONSOLE NOT EVEN HACKED YET.
NO EMULATORS EXIST. PERIOD.
THAT YOUTUBE VIDEO IS PROBABLY A SCAM.
YOU CAN GET THE REAL HARDWARE OR A TIME MACHINE.

We have no way to know for sure when will this console be hacked or when it would be released because the console is, you know, not even hacked yet to a degree we can look and test stuff and tell for sure, let alone for a full emulator to be written.

That said, the vWii mode (for Wii games) can still be hacked in the same way the Wii can be - but that's irrelevant here since the Wii U part is still not hacked (exploits exist, but they were never released - they could help in understanding the hardware though, a much needed preliminary part for emulator development). Wii U Control Pad was hacked and can be used as a controller for various stuff, Wii U disc images can be dumped, and the files inside viewed to a small degree.

You might have read about an unofficial branch of Dolphin with Wii U support - don't get your hopes up. While the PowerPC architecture in the WiiU is the same as the Wii and GC (this fact alone was the reason why Wii emulation was added to Dolphin, originally GC-only), this support is nothing more than the file viewer features (region, internal name, various info, list of files and folders inside ISO and a way to extract them) being expanded to Wii U disc images. Nothing has been done on the actual emulation front: after all, Dolphin devs are not psychics with supernatural powers to predict what each Wii U component does without the needed documentation part after, you know, the Wii U getting hacked enough for that to be possible at all first. Dolphin may be the more likely candidate for Wii U emulation in the future, but right now there nothing done, or nothing that CAN be done for that matter. Now go and buy a Wii U!
