Sega Model 2 is an arcade system board. First released in 1993 as a successor to the Sega Model 1 board.

Comparisons
- Model 2 Emulator
- Formerly known as Nebula Model 2. Has much higher comparability than MAME but is Windows only and hasn't been updated since 2014.
- MAME
- MAMEs Model 2 emulation is actively developed and recently improved greatly with version 0.196 promoting the first two games to working status (Virtua Fighter 2 and Motor Raid). MAME 0.197 followed up with promoting Rail Chase 2 to working status. Other games might work but most have lots of graphic glitches and some will right out crash.
- Sega Model 2 Collection
- Is a way to buy the games as single purchases on PlayStation Network for PlayStation 3 and Xbox Live Arcade for Xbox 360 and Xbox One (backwards compatibility).
