PlayStation 4

The PlayStation 4 is an eighth-generation console produced by Sony Computer Entertainment in 2013. Notably, it is the first PlayStation console to use the x86 architecture, making it easier to program for than the PlayStation 3 while also having the same architecture as PCs.

Emulators

Note that while this console does have the same architecture as PCs does NOT mean it will be easier to emulate, due to the complexity of the architecture. That said, however, it IS possible that it could be easier to emulate than the PlayStation 3, as the x86 architecture is very well documented, compared to Cell (the PS3 architecture), which is not. Either way, don't expect an emulator for a LONG time.
